A building

A building's floors with every unit coloured by occupancy, plus its facilities, security details and history.

What this page is for

See a whole building at a glance: each floor with its units, coloured by whether they are vacant, reserved, occupied or out of order on the chosen day.

Who can use it

How to check occupancy on another day

Pick a date in Occupancy on and select Show. Select a unit to open its property page.

How to delete a building

Unlink its units first (on each property page), then select Delete building.

Fields and columns

Item Meaning
Vacant Nothing covers that night.
Reserved A stay covers that night but the guest hasn't arrived yet, or it is tentative or an inquiry that holds dates.
Occupied The guest has arrived, or the stay began on an earlier night.
Out of order A blocked booking (owner or maintenance) or a maintenance block covers that night.
Units without a floor Units linked to the building but to no floor.
Details, Facilities, Security From the building's form.
History Every change to the building.

Statuses and automation

Occupancy is worked out from bookings, stay status and blocks each time the page opens; it is never stored by hand.

Settings that change this page

Inquiries hold the dates in the Bookings settings decides whether inquiries show as reserved.

FAQs

Why is a unit occupied before check-in time? A stay that started on an earlier night counts as occupied all day.
