Rates

Daily, weekend, seasonal, monthly and extra-guest rates per unit, unit type or all units; length-of-stay discounts; and the suggested price on the booking form.

What this page is for

Set the prices your staff charge when they add bookings by hand. The booking form then offers a Suggested price worked out from these rates, and asks for a reason when someone charges less.

Who can use it

How to set up rates

  1. Add a Daily rate for All units (or per unit type) as the starting price.
  2. Optionally add a Weekend rate, Seasonal rates (with dates, nights of the week, minimum nights and priority), a Monthly rate for long stays, and an Extra guest charge.
  3. Add length-of-stay discounts, e.g. 7+ nights 10% off.
  4. Check with Try a price.

How the suggested price is worked out

For each night: a seasonal rate covering the night (highest priority wins), otherwise the weekend rate on weekend nights, otherwise the daily rate. The most specific rate wins: a unit's own rate beats its unit type's, which beats the all-units rate. Guests above the included number add the extra-guest charge per night. Stays at least as long as the long-stay threshold use the monthly rate (monthly x 12 / 365 per night). Then the best length-of-stay discount is taken off.
