Who can use it
See the ledger. Renaming the account needs Manage ledger accounts.
How to look at a period
Choose the dates and select Filter. Brought forward is the balance before the first date.
Fields and columns

| Reason | The document the entry comes from, and its type. An amount in another currency shows its original amount. |
| Debit, Credit | In your base currency. |
| Balance | The running balance after each line. |

Lines change by themselves when their document changes.
