What this page is for
The Booking website package lets guests book your units directly. It is an add-on for Professional and included in Enterprise. It brings listings, rates and availability, fees and taxes, cancellation policies and reservations. Every reservation is also a booking, so the rest of CityLights sees it.
Who can use it
- Switching it on needs Switch modules on and off.
- Each page has its own permissions, listed on its help page.
- It needs the Finance package for taxes.
How to switch it on
Open Modules and select Switch on on the Booking website card. Then follow Launch your booking site.
Fields and columns
The package itself has no fields. Each part has its own pages.
Statuses and automation
- Bookings from every channel block nights on your listings straight away.
- Unpaid holds are released after the hold time.
- Every night, the calendar is refreshed, past reservations are completed and old guest data is removed after the retention period.

FAQs
What happens to reservations if I switch it off? Nothing is deleted. The bookings stay, and everything comes back when you switch it on again.
