What this page is for
Find any guest and see at a glance how often they stay and how much they are worth. Profiles are made from bookings by themselves: bookings with the same email address, or the same phone number, join the same profile.
Who can use it
See guest profiles (by default Admin, Operations, Sales, Finance and Viewer).
How to find a guest
- Type part of a name, email or phone number.
- Choose a tag (for example VIP or Blacklisted) or a sort order, and select Filter. Reset clears the filters.
- Select a name to open the profile.
Fields and columns
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Contact | The email and phone number on the profile. |
| Tags | VIP, Returning (two stays or more, set by itself), Corporate, Long stay, Has complained. |
| Stays | Confirmed stays and no-shows. A stay split at month ends counts once. |
| Lifetime value | Everything the guest's stays brought in, in your base currency at each stay's month rate. Cancelled stays count only the amount kept. |
| Latest stay | The check-in date of the most recent stay. |
Statuses and automation
- A booking joins a profile when it is saved. Phone numbers match on their last nine digits, so a number with or without the country code is the same guest.
- Bookings made before the module was switched on are linked in the background, a slice at a time.
- Erased guests are hidden from this list.
Settings that change this page
None. Your base currency (General settings) is the currency of lifetime value.
FAQs
Two profiles are the same person. What do I do? Open one and use Merge another profile into this one.
Why has a booking no profile? It has neither an email address nor a phone number.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| A guest is missing | Check their booking has an email or phone number, then save the booking again. |
| Lifetime value looks low | A stay in another currency may have no exchange rate for its month. Add it under Exchange rates. |
